Ski & Sail Itinerary

Saturday - Thursday

  • Day 1

Arrive at Ísaförður Airport at 14:00, ready for your Ski touring adventure. The Aurora crew greets you with warm smiles.

Set sail toward Jökulfirðir, where majestic fjords await you. The sailing spans 4-6 hours.

Upon reaching your anchorage in Hesteyrarfjörður, safety is paramount. You’ll participate in a crucial avalanche crash course to ensure preparedness for the thrilling activities ahead.

As dusk falls, enjoy a delicious dinner onboard. After savoring the evening meal, retire.

  • Day 2

As dawn breaks over the breathtaking fjords of Iceland, the first day of our ski touring adventure begins between Hesteyrarfjörður and Veiðileysufjörður. We kick off the day with a hearty breakfast. After carving through the snow of various types, we find the perfect spot to rest and recharge; inside Aurora for afternoon snacks followed by dinner.

  • Day 3-4

From Veiðileysufjörður, we ski to Lónafjörður. Here, we typically indulge in two nights of skiing, allowing the mountains to dictate our adventure.

As we wrap up our exhilarating days on the slopes, the anticipation of dinner fills the air… again!

  • Day 5

Ski from the serene slopes of Lónafjörður to the breathtaking vistas of Hranfsfjörður, where adventure meets tranquility. Upon arrival at Hranfsfjörður, we have our last night of camaraderie aboard the boat. The Closing Ceremony!

  • Day 6
